Understanding the Enneagram’s 27 Instinct-Based Subtypes: An Introduction to the Three Distinct Versions of Each of the Nine Personality Types
This workshop will expose you to a whole new level of the Enneagram system!
This entertaining and enlightening workshop will present a thorough introduction to seminal Enneagram author Claudio Naranjo’s latest and most complete descriptions of the Enneagram’s 27 personality subtypes. Each of the 27 subtype characters represents a distinct personality that results from the dynamic mixture of the central passion and patterns of the type (one of nine) and one of three biological survival drives, for either self-preservation, social relationships, or one-to-one bonding.
Through vivid descriptions, group discussion, film clips, and the personal testimony of participants, this interactive workshop will help you develop a more complete understanding of the content and operation of the 27 subtype personalities.

She studied the Enneagram system with Helen Palmer and David Daniels in the mid-1990s and completed their teacher certification in 1997. She also took Ginger Lapid-Bogda’s three “Train-the-Trainers” trainings, on integrating the Enneagram into business, leadership, and coaching and had the pleasure of assisting her in several of her early trainings.
She was trained as a group facilitator at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business in 2000 and have facilitated many “human sensitivity training groups” (or t-groups) at Stanford’s GSB and USF’s School of Law since then. Related to this work supporting business students in developing their emotional intelligence, She has worked with individuals and teams within organizations to help them communicate more effectively, understand their personnel issues more clearly, and develop their leaders and individual contributors.
She has been active in the international Enneagram community since 2003, serving as president of the International Enneagram Association (IEA) from 2006 – 2007, chairperson of the 2004 annual IEA conference, and founding co-editor of the IEA’s Enneagram Journal in 2008.

More than anything else, Beatrice is passionate about helping others find their way toward consciously creating more fulfilling relationship, work, and life experiences. She believe’s that the only way we can make our own individual lives better and that of humanity as a whole is for each of us to work to wake up and become more conscious, present, and alive. This inevitably takes work, and she is committed to helping to support people in this all-important effort.
