AEA Event- Recap-The Enneagram Intensive 2.0

enneagram_logoThe AEA welcomes Enneagram Studies in the Narrative Tradition  (ESNT), as they will be offering their Enneagram Intensive 2.0 on February 12-14 and March 4-6, 2016, in Paradise Valley, Arizona.

This premiere offering provides a deep, transformative experience of the Enneagram, focusing on the integration of psychology, spirituality, and somatics. This updated course offers a full examination of the nine type structures, with expanded attention focused on the spiritual and somatic aspects of each Enneagram type.

Another key element of the training is how the types show up in relationships. The first three days have been redesigned to include refinements to the basic proposition (psychology), the basics of self-reflection (spirituality), and the fundamentals of body awareness (somatics).

The final three days are devoted to your path of self-development. You will learn the defense systems for each Enneagram type and how to work with your those patterns of reactivity. You also will be encouraged to find aspects of your own type that offer opportunities for growth and transformation. We will explore the following questions:

  • How do I experience the cognitive-emotional pattern of my type? Why is seeing that pattern important in my life?
  • Why is being receptive important? Why does that help me access my spirituality?
  • Why is feeling my body important? How does that help me live with more consciousness?
