Going, Going, Gone!
It is time to prepare to participate in our Second Annual Silent Auction, November 10 and 11 during AEA’s Special Event featuring Russ Hudson. Last year’s auction was a huge success – with your help, this year will be bigger, better and even more fun!
First step: commitment of auction items. Think of items you might donate: products from shops and services which you frequent, handmade items – by your hands or craft folks that you know, art, foods from specialty shops. The list is endless – Last year Sandy Hogan donated a number of wonderful baskets with specialty items. Give some thought to this idea. Be creative!
We found that actual items were more popular, sold more readily and brought in higher prices than certificates.
Second step: Donation forms! Fill out and return this form promptly. There is paperwork that must be done well before the day of the auction – these forms are helpful and necessary.
Step three: Shop!
